Excellent location. The staff were so friendly and on top of their game. My food was made fresh to order and brought out to my table at lightning speed. I highly recommend Carls Jr hand battered chicken tenders. I think a lot of people sleep on them but when made fresh such as here in Dana Point they are an absolute joy to the tastebuds. These workers were so organized and stayed busy between orders they could be cleaning the entire store! And talk about multi tasking. Taking multiple orders at once and delivering 5 star service was an amazing feat to behold. So glad I stopped in for Lunch here today. Bravo to the team at this location. Can’t wait to come back again when I’m in the area !
I went to Carl's Jr. two days ago and ordered three kids' meals for my children, one charbroiled chicken sandwich, one charbroiled hamburger, and fries. When I got back to the hotel and opened the bag, I was shocked to find only the fries—no sandwiches at all! I was extremely upset because I couldn’t go back with my hungry, crying kids. Very disappointing! I've learned to always check my order before leaving. I paid $57 for nothing.
In comparison to other fast food places, this location has a very friendly staff and the food consistently good. The manager at this location does a great job with big orders. We place a big order, for late in the evening every year and the food is always surprisingly fresh. Order is always correct and he does a good job communicating with us about the order.
Carl's Jr. French fries are excellent. Unlike many others, Carl's fries stay crisp and tasty throughout the time it takes to eat a meal. The famous star I had was fresh, perfectly cooked with crispy lettuce and just the right amount of special sauces.

The Carl's Jr. in Dana Point is always fantastic. The staff is friendly, the place is clean, and the menu offers deliciously satisfying food. I love it!
The service was courteous, the atmosphere was lively, and I was pleasantly surprised by the high-quality food considering it's a fast food restaurant.
One of few spots open. Great Third burger with fries. Excellent tasting fresh burger. Fries were tasty too and not oily. Prompt drive thru service.
Biscuit on the breakfast sandwich was stale. Yesterdays biscuits? They advertise make their biscuits fresh daily. Ours were not fresh.

Nice place. You can easily see it from PCH. All the employees are friendly. There are plenty of sits inside.
It would be great if the staff at the counter spoke at least some English; it's not too difficult to do.
