At that time of day, there were very few customers, which made the already spacious dining area even more enjoyable. The Californian burger I ordered wasn’t exactly like the one displayed in the window—but honestly, that’s pretty common everywhere. It was perfectly fine, though, because it was delicious in its own chaotic way. The spicy sauce added a fantastic charbroiled flavor that I really loved. I definitely prefer their hamburgers over what other fast-food chains have to offer. The only downside was the lack of napkins; I had to ask for some. I vaguely remember stations where customers could grab as many napkins as they wanted. That was a minor letdown, but it didn’t spoil my overall...
While their burgers are quite good for a fast food joint, there’s a recurring issue with the service. They often have you pull forward and wait, and I've seen as many as four cars ahead of me waiting for their orders, all because they're trying to manage their drive-thru times. The frustrating part is that if you ask for condiments, they won't provide them at the window, forcing you to get out of your car and go inside to request them. This really ruins the convenience of using the drive-thru.
Worst Carl's Jr I've ever been to. I went there twice in the past and both times were a waste of time and money. Both times they didn't get my order correct and over charged my card and both times my sandwiches were FLAT! As if the cook had pressed down on them with books. I didn't understand it. And the meat was dry. So, never going there again. Carl's Jr anywhere else, I promise it's better.
I’m puzzled about how the standard double cheeseburger has shrunk so much. It felt more like a stack of slider-sized burgers, and the bun was significantly larger than the burger itself. I'm not sure what's going on there. However, the staff was very pleasant, so I don't want to fault them. The real issue seems to be with the product quality, which isn't what it used to be. I ordered a chili fry deal.. The sauce was not enough. I mean, i understand that they can only go by the measurement procedures, but heck sometimes we like our fries soaked in sauce. Anyways! I had to pay 1.80 for two pumps or spoonful of sauce. Place was nice and clean it was 9:30 pm quiet. The manager was okay too. He explained why and we solved it.
The restaurant was practically empty when we arrived, but both it and the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. However, somehow our order wasn't completely correct. I don't know if it was employee or customer error, but somehow 2 of the burgers were totally wrong. Employees should ask for clarification if customer isn't clear in their order.
Thank you, John Rene, for the excellent service, even when our reservation didn’t go through. We were quite hungry, and you were very accommodating. It was a much better experience than at the JIB across the street, where we were turned away! The food was fantastic—and the aroma was delightful. Kudos to you, John Rene!
I had a wonderful experience with the service, but the six-dollar burger I chose was disappointing. I guess this is what happens when I decide to try something other than my usual Western Bacon cheeseburger.
