Caluccios was fantastic!!! The staff were amazing and the food was brilliant!! I chose it because of the gluten free menu which was sooooo good!!! It was my Mums Birthday and they put cakes on a plate with candles for me. Basically couldn't do enough for us!! However I would never book through the fork again....it doesnt register as a booking with Carluccios system....thankfully I doubled checked beforehand!!! So I would recommend booking direct
Having made an online booking I was surprised to arrive and the restaurant had no record of the booking and asked for my confirmation email. I asked for olives with our drinks but they didn’t arrive and the waitress wasn’t bothered when we asked whether they were. Also disappointed that two dishes were available My experience ydsy didn’t compare to previous experiences at the same restaurant. I wouldn’t rush back in a hurry
Firstly they didn't have our booking as it was not on the system so had to show email, secondly all the dishes we had all tasted differently to what we use to have lacked flavour and very dry, we had the rice ball dish as a starter that was really bland, then we had penny giardinni that was completely dry and no flavour.
Everything was okay however the food came over and the temperature of the food was tepid, the toast was too hard almost like a croton. Service was fab and the quality of the food was nice and the flavours were good, just the temperature of the food was a bit off. Reserva una mesa ahora
a quick lunch while shopping by. the staff was nice and friendly. good selection of options on the menu, and our meals were nice. tables were sufficiently spaced and it did not feel crowded at all. overall a good experience.
Pasta dishes were dry and looked like they had been sat under lights. Starter arrived with mains. Lots of empty mussel shells in seafood dish. Bread selection had no whole meal sourdough, contrary to menu, but not advised.
server was great. we really liked him, very jolly! very beautiful motherday meal. we ran a few minutes too late and called to tell them. the table was not asked for us. Eat was delicious!
Starters of squid rings was very bland and had no flavour Mains dish seafood linguine was ok but squid was over cooked and rubbery totally inedible very disappointing Reserva una mesa ahora
the pasta in all three was dry with almost no sauce. we complained and got a reduction in the bill. the chocolate bread and the butter pudding was very nice.
