Carmelos Tacos - Reservar una mesa

Excellent tacos! The homemade tortilla is so good, warm and fresh. I am vegetarian and was impressed by the options available to me. I got 2 slow cooked mushroom and potato tacos with the red salsa which was so delicious. Also tried 1 nopales taco as well. That one was good too but the mushroom was my favorite! Added cheese on all tacos because why not ; . Great place for a quick bite. Ordered via self service and food was out within 5-10 minutes. They were also really nice about avoiding the green salsa on my plate due to my avocado allergy! Can’t wait to bring folks back here and try other things.Vegetarian options: They had two vegetarian options which is super impressive for a seattle taco shop. The options were actually delicious and nutritious, not just “no meat” and bean cheese only.Dietary restrictions: I have an avocado allergy and they were careful about preparation

I have come to this place over 50 times without problem. However I ordered an Al pastor burrito at around 11:30am on 8/4 and the man working the front at this time who I have not seen before gave me the worst customer service I’ve experienced in recent memory. I was waiting at the window for a while so I asked where my food was and he said he already called it. My number was K1 and I didn’t hear it. He may I have called it I don’t know that’s fine. But he proceeds to give me attitude saying I wasn’t here and why I didn’t get my food. Why is that necessary? I was literally one step away from the window as well. Then he says he gave my food to someone else. He did not check the receipt and gives but gives me attitude for that. This is a place I highly recommend to others but this experience really ruined my view of Carmelo’s

Delicious quick bite tacos. No seating area available. It’s strictly take out. The chips were crispy and not too salty. The guacamole was fresh and stayed green until the next day, amazing! Overall Carmelos is a great and affordable place to grab quick tacos or burritos. The staff was super friendly!Vegetarian options: Vegetarian burritos and tacos available.Parking: Somewhat difficult to find parking, unless you have someone to drop you off. Street parking is available.

There are two Carmelos in Capitol Hill and this walk up has consistently been superior to the sit down Carmelos in my experience. The carne asada burrito is my go-to and it's a satisfying amount of food for less than $10. This is great, inexpensive Mexican food.

Fast, affordable and amazing food! Ordered the Al pastor burrito, which was very delicious, as well as the super refreshing homemade horchata!
