I have visited this restaurant over 50 times without any issues in the past. However, on 8/4 at around 11:30am, I ordered an Al pastor burrito and received the worst customer service from a man working at the front who I had not seen before. I was waiting at the window for some time before asking about my food, to which he responded that he had already called my number, K1, which I did not hear. He then proceeded to give me attitude, questioning why I hadn't received my order even though I was right there. The tacos at Carmelos are delicious and perfect for a quick bite. There is no seating area, so it's strictly takeout only. The crispy chips are not too salty and the fresh guacamole stays green for days. The staff is super friendly. Carmelos is a great and affordable spot for quick tacos or burritos. Vegetarian options include burritos and tacos. Parking can be somewhat difficult to find, but street parking is available. It's best to have someone drop you off.

Vegetarian options: The fact that they had two vegetarian options at a taco shop in Seattle is impressive. It's even better that the options were tasty and nutritious, rather than just the standard "no meat" bean and cheese options. Dietary restrictions: I have an avocado allergy and they took great care in preparing my food to avoid any cross-contamination.

This place delivers some good tacos. A little bit of a wait but not too bad. No place to sit only take out. Parking is difficult. They had a tent outside the window for rain but it was small. Think they could do a better job with the presentation of their menu. Overall, solid place for tacos though. Would definitely return. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had tacos and a burrito from here. It has that street food feel, and the taste was just okay. Though for the prices, it's a pretty good deal. I personally would have preferred a bit more spice, but I understand they have to cater to the population that lives in the area.

There are two Carmelos in Capitol Hill and this walk up has consistently been superior to the sit down Carmelos in my experience. The carne asada burrito is my go-to and it's a satisfying amount of food for less than $10. This is great, inexpensive Mexican food.

My husband has been raving about this place for months after trying the Al Pastor tacos while working in the area- well he finally took me there today and they did not disappoint!! Absolutely delicious!! Will definitely be coming back.

Tacos are delicious over here! Service is fast. Great location. Perfect for a quick meal. Favorite: quesibirrias/birria special.
