Carne Italian Chophouse

I went with my boyfriend for our anniversary/Valentines Day dinner. We made a reservation on open table for 6:30 but when we showed up early they led us in right away. Really great atmosphere for a nice date night. We shared the buttered potato patte, Brussels sprouts, and a giant steak. Everything was cooked to perfection! Absolutely delicious. The service was incredible, she even had great recommendations. As a special treat they also gave us each a glass of champagne to celebrate our anniversary! I would highly reccomend this place to friends and family. Can't wait to come back again and try something new!

After spending two months in Winnipeg for work, we visited many recommended restaurants, but Carne Italian Chop House at 295 York St truly impressed us. The service was exceptional, the flavors were outstanding, and they offered the best Wagyu beef in the city—without a doubt! I’ve never tasted anything better. The grilling master behind the stove has remarkable skills, ensuring that your steak is grilled to perfection every time. It will undoubtedly be the best steak you’ve ever had! Thank you for the four amazing meals I enjoyed at Carne!

The black magic pasta was a delightful surprise; it offers a unique twist on traditional tomato sauce that is simply delicious. The combination of scallions and prawns added a wonderful touch. We also ordered the truffle fries, and let me tell you, these were not your average fries—they were elevated to a whole new level of fancy! I highly recommend these dishes. The warm atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service made for a fantastic experience. I can't wait to return!

We went before a Jets game but we're late for our reservation and they did not bat an eye but made sure we were out on time. Our server was lovely too. I had the 4 oz A5 beef and it was like foie gras, melted in my mouth!!! My hubby had the Wagyu rib steak and he feels it was the best steak he had ever had. A bit pricey, but undoubtedly one of the best meals I've ever had. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Everything was cooked to perfection, and the staff were exceptional. It's hands down the best NY steak you’ll ever taste.

The atmosphere is very cozy and upscale. Our waiter was very attentive and personable. The food was amazing. I said 'mmmmmm ' multiple times as my tenderloin practically melted in my mouth!! Will definitely be going back!

Everything was amazing! Was there with a party of 10 and all the food was served in good time, perfectly cooked, and delicious! On the pricier side but absolutely worth it and I would definitely recommend!

I used to really enjoy Lobby on York, but it has undergone so many changes over time. I believe this is the third name for this location since Lobby, and it’s still operating under the Wow brand. Reserva una mesa ahora

This steakhouse was fantastic! I decided to go with the basic tenderloin since I didn’t want to spend too much on a steak before experiencing what the restaurant had to offer.

This is undoubtedly the best steak you'll find in Winnipeg. The Brandt Lake Wagyu, Snake River Farms Wagyu, and Japanese A5 Wagyu are all incredibly delicious.
