Carousel Bakery - Reserva de mesa

After hearing so much about Carousel we had to give it a try. The Peameal Bacon on a bun was fantastic only regret is that I didn't order an additional one to bring back to the hotel. The chicken parm sandwich is also a must. Fast friendly service and very affordable. I would recommend that you try Carousel if near the St Lawerence Market.

This is primarily a bakery, but also has a great takeout menu of.....the peameal bacon sandwiches everyone comes here for. We never miss out on those, but we also love love love the custard tarts and breads this bakery makes. Reasonably priced. Yummy beyond belief. This is NOT a place to miss if you are at the St. Lawrence Market.

As an avid bacon lover, American bacon is much better. The taste was good but overrated as a staple sandwich for Toronto. Nevertheless the it was a good sized breakfast sandwich and worth the price. Only down side cash ONLY!

Just left this place moments ago to catch the train but feel I have to share. We visited at bout 9.30am this morning when the market was quite. Lovely service and an incredible sandwich!

I ordered the peameal bacon because I was dying to see what all the fuss was about and thought that it was good but not great. It tasted like a ham sandwich to me, nothing special.

If you're in the St-Lawrence Market area, stop in at the Carousel Bakery for a peameal sandwich on a bun. DE-LI-CIOUS. You'll love every bite. Highly recommended.

I would have to say it's not even average at best, I ate maybe half my sandwich it was terrible, very fatty and no flavor at all. I would not recommend it at all. Reserva una mesa ahora

Have been going since childhood. LOVE IT!!!! Honestly do not be afraid to wait in line. It moves super fast and the bacon on the bun is totally worth it.

Sat outside the market on a very sunny morning enjoying the peameal breakfast bun, lovely! A perfect breakfast when you are on the go and very cheap too.
