The food is always excellent & I'm jealous that we do not have a similar restaurant in the city where I live but what makes the place so special is Nico's attention to customer service / satisfaction. In past visits when I couldn't make up my mind what I wanted Nico volunteered to make something up for me based on what was freshest - This time I opted for the wild boar & was equally elated with the choice. As a foreign visitor that speaks little to no German I especially appreciate the warmth & graciousness of the service. Given the fact that the place is always packed, I suspect my experience is wonderfully typical.
This is my top favorite restaurant in Bocholt. I visit Bocholt since 14 years and I have followed Nico the chef and also the owner since his period in Bacco's. Terrific atmosphere, friendly, quiet, wonderful food with the best Lamb chops I have ever had. Unfortunately there is not always on the Menu.
Spontaneous decision on coffee, great atmosphere and therefore stayed for dinner. Very nice interior, great service and a really good kitchen. Tastefully very finely tuned very fresh ingredients and a very good advice on spice and drank!!!!
This was the best meal to date during my 2 weeks in Bocholt. If you have the chance this is a must do dinner. We enjoyed it so much we came back for a second meal.

We had a very nice evening with you the food was as always very delicious. The calfssteak beautiful medium fried and tender. You have to be nice staff.
Whether fillet steak or gnocchi, everything simply tastes perfect with a great atmosphere. You can also feel the joy of an owner-run restaurant.
Super delicious restaurant with daily changing dishes! Super friendly boss who made us a little vegetarian. The antipasti are absolute madness.
