First time visiting this location and I only live a few minutes away. Shame on me, first time trying Carrabbs's we were in PA couldn't wait to come home to try our location. The first few visit was take out only and we was very satisfied. Caesar salad is a must order. I always order caesar salad, sautéed Spinach, garlic mashed potatoes, meatballs and ricotta, Mahi Wulf, and of the Spiedino Di Mare. The kids always order the Spaghetti and Meatballs and My husband is always trying something new off the menu each time and so far we have never had a complaint. Here we go, Found this place on 347. I also visit the location in Central Islip. Entered in the restaurant we were greeted by a gentlemen very nice guy. We were seated immediately. The restaurant had a party going on and a great crowd . Nice, clean and bright. Our waiter was ok wasn't the greatest but it's whatever. Served bread with butter ,pesto first which was delicious. I ordered chicken parm which wasn't all that great. Two hours later had heart burn and my stomach was hurting. That was a clear sign of no way have to say I don't think I will be visiting this restaurant again. For the money spent and having the food repeat on me I wouldn't really recommend this restaurant. I came to celebrate my father's birthday here, me and my father have been coming here a long time and the food has never EVER disappointed. It can get busy especially on holiday's, or regular nights, but the food is so worth it. The setting is nice they play italian music overhead and the servers are so kind and heartwarming. The bathrooms are always clean. Sometimes you can sit at the bar and order a drink to wait for your table which is something I like. I really recommend the classic combination for the appetizer. I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. Despite being part of a chain, the Long Island location had a more intimate and comfortable feel. The staff were outstanding and our server was excellent. The food was delicious, especially the new fall menu items. The fontina and prosciutto stuffed pork chops were exceptional. We visited Carabas at Central Islip. The food is amazing! Our meal was fresh and appetizing, we had fried calamar, meatballs, lobster ravioli, and chicken Parmesan. We decided to take extra orders home for family at home. Katrina waited our table, she offered exceptional service and made sure we had everything we needed. The host, Isaiah was engaging and friendly? He seated us at the booth we requested and made sure our youngsters were entertained with the Coloring sheets. We will visit again!

I visited this restaurant for the first time earlier this month. To be honest, the ambiance felt like a more upscale Applebee's. Our group of 7 was squeezed into a poorly lit corner. The service from our waiter was extremely slow. The food was okay, but overly salty. They ran out of regular soda and tried to pass off diet soda without telling us. When we asked to split the checks, the wrong items were combined. We were hoping to enjoy a meal with family, but I'm unsure if I will return.

I finally found this place and was very delighted. I was in the mood for chicken francese but it was not on the menu. The waitress informed me that they would be able to prepare the dish for me. I was thrilled when I was served my dinner!! The chicken was so juicy and the better was not overwhelming, it was actually one of the best I have ever tasted. I will definitely be back to try the chicken marsala next time!!

Service was horrible. We had to ask for silverware 3 times, it took an hr to get a bread basket. Than all of our food was cold. My daughters steak was raw. I use to come here ever year for Christmas Eve. I will be finding a new place to eat next year. Reserva una mesa ahora
