Our visit to Cartell in Basel was truly exceptional and left us thoroughly impressed. Right from the start, our taste buds were tantalized by the nachos served with homemade guacamole and an array of five different salsas. The combination of crispy nachos and the fresh, creamy guacamole was a delightful treat, and the assortment of salsas provided an unexpected burst of flavors. For our main course, we had the opportunity to sample a wide variety of tacos. I opted for the selection with beef, poultry, shrimp, and fish, while my partner preferred the chicken and beef tacos. One of the best fish tacos I have tried in my life. Yesterday, my partner and I went to this amazing Mexican restaurant and I was amazing. We had their speciality chorizo tacos, fish tacos and cheese quesadilla. Also, the chocolate pudding. Everything was super delicious! Service was really nice, thanks Jenny and all the team in cartell restaurant, after 6 hours driving was all we needed! If you are in Basel and you love Mexican food, I really recommend this place.

It was my first time here and I was extremely satisfied with the overall package. The shrimp burrito is an absolute must have! Price/performance ratio is pretty good, but for a burrito 26. it costs a lot. Otherwise good and decent service, pleasant seats and relaxed atmosphere, even if it was busy. Would definitely come again!

Amazingly delicious Mexican (inspired) food. I would never think to come to Switzerland and have such yummy tacos. Tasty margaritas, fantastic guacamole...service was friendly and fast. Average price for the area. Two thumbs up and highly recommend.

Best Mexican I've had a long time. Authentic salsas and mol, well marinated meat and flavored vegan choices. Try their selection of tacos with cocktails, belly happy!
