Today, I celebrated Father's Day with a lovely dinner organized by my wife and kids. We were seated at a table for ten, and given the occasion, the restaurant was understandably quite busy! We've dined here several times in the past. There was a slight delay due to the crowd, but the wait was definitely worth it. I ordered the Sunday dinner, and I can honestly say it was probably the best I’ve ever had! Everyone else in our group was equally thrilled with their meals and praised the food, expressing their desire to return. brilliant. called with friend and 1 year old baby, a beautiful place with high chair waiting. I changed my order slightly from what was on the menu, and the workers and chef never hunted an eyelid and brought exactly what I asked for cooked to perfection. later the chef came by to ask if everything was in order! brilliant pub/restaurant, family freendly and excellent eating. will be definitiw back

We visited today for afternoon tea, and I can honestly say it was the best we've had! The sandwiches were beautifully fresh, and there was a lovely selection of cakes, along with scones served with jam and strawberries, all presented on a charming miniature picnic table. We will definitely book again and highly recommend this place to everyone! Keep up the excellent standards!

Been twice now. Both for a late lunch and both times the food was lovely. Asked for a recipe for one of the sauces and the chef was happy to tell me how to make it. The waiter was lovely and polite and checked we were happy with the food and sevice. I will be going again Reserva una mesa ahora

Superb food, friendly staff and lovely cosy atmosphere. We went for a family meal and we all enjoyed it very much. Lots of games to play with for the kids and the beer was kept very well. We'll be back very soon. 5 Stars from us all :

Very friendly owners, great local pub! Super honest bar staff I left a £10 note on the bar 1 week later I was greeted with my £10. Thank you Carters. Can't fault the food either. Can recommend the sandwiches and the pies!

Went to eat here after the new chef and menu were in place. Absolutely stunning. Steak cooked to perfection and such a welcoming environment. If I could give it 6 stars I would.

Best homemade food ever! We ordered Lasagne with garlic bread, a huge homemade cheese and bacon burger, and steak and ale pie. All meals were outstanding!

Lovely place with gorgeous fresh food at such a reasonable price! Family friendly too and the staff are really nice and welcoming, highly recommend.
