I am by no means a foodie. In reality I am more of a fast food drive through type fella. I am a highly picky person so I stick with what I know. But last night I had the opportunity to go to casa bovina to celebrate my new engagement with my new fiance. The atmosphere in the place is amazing, calm and warm. It's very neat to watch the hustle of the chefs making sure everything isperfect before it goes out. Our server was attentive and very knowledgeable and overall amazing. Now, the food... Again I'm ahighly picky person , but this was the most amazing food I've ever had. I totally understand why food people become food people. My fiance had the filet mignon that you could cut with a fork and it melted in your mouth. It made my eyes roll if you get me.The potato puree with it was silky, smooth and super buttery. The broccolini and brussel sprout opened my eyes to how goodveggies actually can be. I personally at the crab rigatoni. It was beyond amazing. It was so delicate and the crab was sodelicious. The pasta was cooked to perfection and it had this small salty cruch on top that you got with every bite. It added atexture I didn't know pasta needed. And the sauce it was in was creamy, complex, and tantalizing. I thought about licking myplate. Not to dive into everything we had but I highly recommend the steak tartar as well. My first time having that and willnot be my last! Dessert was a perfect way to wrap up a perfect dining experience. The apple eclair was soft, moist but notoverly sweet. And the pear sorbetto was unexpected. It was light and crisp. Followed by the crumble at the bottom... I couldn'tstop eating. Any ways. It was a night to remember and will recommend to anyone I see or know. 10/10

We got the chance to enjoy a dinner at Casa Bovina (finally). This place has been high on our list for awhile as we love a fine dining/European atmosphere. The estate itself is sleek and reminded me of wineries i?ve seen during travels. As you ascended tothe second floor you?re welcomed into the open concept layout this part literally made my jaw drop. Our server Pat wasoutstanding, although we knew coming in we were going for the tasting menu his delicious descriptions really sold usover. Here?s my highlights: This place is the complete definition of gastronomic dining. The courses are masterfully thoughtout and prepared and that?s evident in the photos. Each course truly made us sit back and think about what we were eating and tome is the essence of a true dining experience. The tasting menu frequently changes but i?ll tell you we attempted to lick ourplates clean each course Don?t expect to finish your meal in an hour here simply because it?s not meant to. Enjoy theatmosphere, the front row view of the kitchen, table side pasta making and relish in this absolute GEM we have inLincoln. Thank you again Casa Bovina for an outstanding night.

I've eaten at plenty of fine dining establishments across multiple countries. This is right up there. Approachable fare at premium quality. High levels of service and presentation. Expect to spend $100 per person minimum, easily more if you choose awine pairing option. It will be worth every penny. Lincoln is lucky to have this dining option!

Arguably the greatest new place to eat in Nebraska. The Piedmontese beef is amazing. The Mercato (butcher shop) below the restaurant is a must visit while you are there. Have enjoyed the tasting menu twice and recommend that approach to explore thediversity of food prepared and talent of the kitchen staff.
