Wow! My parents took me here to try this “hidden gem” and I could not be more thankful! This place is runned by the family owners Mrs Fernanda the amazing cook, Mr. António the griller man, and their “kids” keeping the floor together. This...restaurant has the A La Cart menu with delicious choices, but they also do special Portuguese dishes if you order in advance (a few hours before your reservation time is enough). We were lucky that Dona Fernanda cooked a bit extra of the special dish Boar Stew (ordered for another table) THE BEST BOAR STEW EVER! I will be coming back as many times as I can, and cannot wait to try all their specialties!

came for a meal with family eating was amazing, I had blacksteaks, chips and salat, followed by lemon balms. Unfortunately, this was abandoned by the bad service. it took an hour until our main meal came during this time. we had finished our drinks and needed more and every time the waiter came to a nearby table, he refused to look at us. they did not check if our meal was in order and if we asked for the bill, it took a long time to come to us until a few of us left because it was late.

we have been living in the algarve for almost a year, and this is definitiw one of the best meals we had, recommended to us from the owner of another restaurant in vila real. excellent authentic local cuisine, we had fresh cheese, great showers and. the amazing wild boar stew. service was friendly, good house wine and great worth, what is not to like? also it is really not as far as some of the reviews recommend, in most minutes from vila nowa de cacela. we will be back on the ass!

this place is on the hills and busy... so they expect to wait when they haven't booked....or to come early. the food and service were brilliant and the waitress had excellent English and really looked around us. the specials are listed as only to advanced ordering. but. I asked and they had some wild boar and white bean stew that was delicious. very recommended and rewarding popular closed on Wednesday Reserva una mesa ahora

Have been eating twice and was surprised by tasteful and affordable food, in particular the specials of the day. Personel is very kind and very hard and efficiently working, but sometimes the incoming crowd is simply difficult to manage. Be aware not to drop in...at lunch time during, or just after, the peak hour of hours, like us. Waiting time may become a bit lenghty, even with a reservation.

Grande qualidade/preço. Eu aconselho, entre outras iguarias, o arroz de cabidela. Funcionários atenciosos, mesmo no verão, que nem sempre está no Algarve. De zero a dez, dou-te 9.

On August is very croudy. Good food, you can go there to have a drink. Better food if you order it the day before.
