Casa El Peon De Pinos

The drive up to pinos is very scenic and you can see the coast from the road. The food at the restaurant is great value and very fresh. We would go again. Only thing letting it down is the lack of camerero o camerera. It seems the owners/family are trying to do it themselves. There were people arriving not being attended to, older gent gave people wrong paella, other gent had to be reminded several times by customers to bring the bill. Customers were having to go to bar to order more drinks as the two gents serving didn't seem to be on the ball. It was still enjoyable but some less forgiving customers might not return.

The first thing to know about this restaurant is that cards are not accepted as payment. Lovely spot with excellent views of the sea and mountains. This family run restaurant offers delicious home cooked meals at very reasonable prices, booking recommended for Saturday and Sunday. It's not fine dining just good honest food.

Always worth the effort getting here. Views are fabulous. We have eaten here often, and so far haven't managed to get past the tapas menu. All freshly prepared, substantial helpings, and very tasty. The loin of pork and the sepia (cuttlefish) especially good. Worth booking at busy times of year.

Peon de Pinos tiene una maravillosa vista sobre Calpe. Lo cual sería suficiente para ir allí. Pero te arrepentirías de no haber pedido comida y bebidas aquí. El dueño es muy amable, y la comida simplemente es excelente. Los precios razonables lo hacen perfecto.
