Casa Enrique - Reservar una mesa

We have visited this restaurant once before and were not impressed. However, we decided to give it another try, especially since we had a gift certificate. The interior is lackluster, with white walls and poor lighting giving it a depressing atmosphere. The previous visit had a charming red brick patio that is no longer available, leaving the dining experience feeling more like a basement setting. The food was decent, but we have had better Mexican cuisine at a lower price point. It is disappointing considering the Michelin Star ratings and the difficulty of securing a reservation, as we expected a higher quality experience.

If you sit at the bar or come with a larger group, you'll have a better experience. Otherwise, you may be seated in a less ambiance-filled area with no music, crowded tables, uncomfortable seating, and poor lighting. The food is a bit overpriced for its quality - for instance, a side of rice costs $7. Overall, I was expecting to be impressed but found everything to be just average.

The meal was absolutely delicious and perfect! I had a fantastic 30th birthday celebration.
