My friends and I enjoyed a delicious dinner and a flamenca show yesterday. This restaurant is a hidden gem. It was easy to get a table for 5 with only an hour's notice and we were seated right in front of the stage. We started with a bottle of wine and some while we waited for our last guest to arrive. We really wnjoyed the garlic shrimp and the bottle of wine the waiter suggested was reasonably priced and paired perfectly with our food. We were also provided with a variety if complementary breads for the table. The staff were very attentive withiout being overbearing and we did not feel rushed at all even though we spent over an hour before ordering any mains. For our mains, most of us ordered...

We finished at the cinema and in the rain, we look for a restaurant while strolling on St-Denis Street where many have closed their doors since our last visit. Casa Galicia showed up when we were thinking of a wine to bring your own wine from the convenience store for an Indian restaurant next door. We are received without reservation, being very accommodating because we expect a large group and half of the restaurant is already very busy but we will see it fill up all evening. The table d'hôte menu has a few options at various prices. We accept the base offer and add the grilled octopus. Our table is in the traffic zone on two groups of eight, therefore with repeated passages. The service i...

We had their special, which was good and reasonable. Personally, I found the rest of the menu to be a bit overpriced. Maybe a percentage of those prices is destined to the show they do which was not taking place when we were there. If you have dinner and see a show then those prices are certainly justifiable in my book. Our server (which might have been the owner) said the flan was home made but it did not have the texture or taste characteristic of one.

We ordered the paella, which is their specialty. The rice was dry and the dish was quite tasteless frankly, The mussels in my paella were rotten and eating them was an ordeal, they tasted like sewage. It was a terrible experience so I stopped eating after a while and just sipped on my $8 water. I'm giving 2 stars because our waiter was very nice to us, if not i would have given one star. We spent $100 for dinner for two. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went here for a coupon deal and got a great table looking out on busy st Denis street. Lots of decorations here but also dust. The waiter who might be the manger or owner was very nice and really took care of us.We had the menu decouverte, octopus salad, cod croquettes, calamari, sausage and paella. Lots of food and it was decent but nothing too special.I hear they have music flamenco on weekends.

First time at this Spanish restaurant And will return. We were a group of 16 and decided to go there also to check out the flamenco dancer. Was a good show but a short one of 30 minutes. Wish it was longer. The paella was amazing and my friends enjoyed their dish. The ambiance was nice with many birthday groups. Overall was a nice Spanish evening and will go back. Not expensive it was just right.

We had ventured out from our hotel to find a French restaurant in the French Quarter but on our way we were drawn to Casa Galicia because it offered paella. This was a joy. Inside it looked as if the owners had packed up their home town in Spain and brought it to Montreal. The paella was perfect. Possibly this was the most expensive meal we had in Montreal, it was well worth it.

Excellent restaurant. Most friendly service, interested without being intrusive. I ate the best gazpacho in the world there! Very wide choice on the wine list. Pleasant and flamenco atmosphere on Friday and Saturday evenings. Reserva una mesa ahora
