I was pleased with the place. The selections and different options available on the menu were varied, and the prices were reasonable. The food itself was good and flavored nicely — not bland like you are apt to find at some Mexican resturants. My only reason for pause was the staff. They seemed new, and a bit awkward. They’re not doing anything groundbreaking with Tex-Mex but they get the standards right and the service and management are top notch. The grilled shrimp salad is the best in Baton Rouge! They also have three types of fish available in various dishes: red snapper, tilapia, and Mahi Mahi. It’s tough to find a neighborhood restaurant with that much variety in seafood at very reasonable prices.
The food wasFantastic! The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back. You have to try the raspberry mango margarita—it’s a must!
Service was great. But the food was not stunning. Mediocre at best. I guess I have been spoiled with authentic food trucks and local eateries.

Inexpensive is what sets this place apart. Limited menu, but decent. Their signature dish is a shrimp wrap.
