Casa Luca - Reservar una mesa

Casa Luca was located right next to our hotel. Every time we passed by it, my boyfriend and I would jokingly say that we'll end up trying it since it's hard to miss. The day came today when we wanted to get a late dinner. We had dinner at Casa Luca around 10pm on a Friday night. The place wasn't super busy, but there were guests coming in around the same time as us. The restaurant felt cozy and romantic. Traditional, classic Italian restaurant vibes. Food came out in a timely manner. Maybe because the restaurant was going to close in an hour, we had the quickest experience of our meal during our stay in Paris. Yes, an easy spot for tourists to conveniently stop around the busy area of Champs-Elysees. But being that almost all the outside tables were filled with folks it looked so Euro not to pass up. The beer service is comme ci comme ça so the house wine is the way to go. Simply raise a glass and say, À ta santé!

It's hard to find bad food and service in Paris, but that's it. Starter and main tossed at the same time. No wine except the cheapest through the glass, and it tasted like it should be from a box. Pasta soggy. Veal rides and hard. The vert risotto was ok, like the fried Calamari. Avoid!

eating was okay, cacio de pepe is good too embarrassing. the mozzarella buffalo is so good and they have a great wine selection. not my favourite place for eating, but definitiw great for photos and drinks.

Helaas wij zijn weggelopen nadat we eert 10 minuten, ondanks vragen, op de kaart hadden moeten wachten en daarna was er weer tien minuten geen ober die naar ons tafeltje kwam.

Tourist trap. Bad wine. I had cork in my wine. That's a no no in a country that is known for its wine.
