The experience of last night 25/10/2022, highlights the true DNA of Mr. Luigi who accepted the reservation of the undersigned and three other friends for 8.15 pm. Upon our arrival, he asked to wait another 15 minutes, and we understood the need to vacate a...table. After this time he joined us (always the owner) at the entrance, inventing our big words towards his son for the delay in letting us sit. In the presence of his son who confirmed our behavior, he closed the door of the restaurant for us, reiterating that he would not let us sit inside. The atmosphere is simply authentic the smell of good food, the menu which is not overloaded with stuff, but focusses on a right amount of good dishes where everybody (I think will find a couple of likes to go for. In summer the inner...area of the restaurant is a lovely place to sit, eat and talk, but also the interior of the main room has no reason to hide. The grilled seafood plate is an experience, but also the dorade or a pasta dish there is nothing not to order :

Small restaurant with tight and limited seating. Service was excellent, friendly and warm, food quality is however average, especially for the price. We had an antipasti starter platter to share which was well portioned with a good variety. I then had the Truffle Pasta, which...turned out to be too cloying and they were not as generous with the Truffle shavings. I've also had better truffle pasta at another restaurant in Düsseldorf.

I went to Casa Luigi with a friend for a dinner. The food was OK nothing to write home about, nothing to complain about. The service though horrible not attentive at all, whatever we asked for (e.g. split the payment of the...bill, sit in a different place when the restaurant was half empty) was a “no”. Outdoor sitting in a very cozy environment. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was good as well. We had a group of 6 and everyone truly enjoyed their meal and the experience.

Busy and nice food they squeezed us in and told us we had 2 hours for dinner but after 90 mins we were presented with the bill . Felt like we were being ejected ! Didn’t even offer coffee

We were there on Saturday night and even we did not have any reservation they gave us a table. Everything was really tasty from pasta to the desert! Thank you.

Very tasty food and nice wine to accommodate the meal. Loved the aubergine starter and the polipo/calamari main dish. Service was good, not exceptional.
