We made a dinner reservation and the restaurant quickly filled up as the evening went on, so we recommend making a reservation in advance. The customer service was excellent and the prices were fair - not cheap, but not expensive either. The decor was lovely and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere. We visited on a Friday evening when they had a Mariachi band playing live music, which added to the overall experience. Most importantly, the food was delicious. We tried the enchiladas, a variety of tacos, a gordita, and some churros. The overall experience at the restaurant was enjoyable, but the prices seemed high in comparison to the portion sizes. Our bill came to around $80 for two small appetizers, two vegetarian soups, and two juices. Additionally, it would have been preferable if the decor had a more traditional Mexican style, such as incorporating elements of mariachi, baroque and surrealist painters, countryside scenes, or a blend of modern Mexican aesthetics, rather than the cliché themes of Cinco de Mayo or Day of the Dead celebrations.

The restaurant offers excellent authentic food with good friendly service. It is a local family business. The only drawbacks are having only one bathroom and being sold out of several items I wanted, which were minor inconveniences in the grand scheme of things. However, the pros outweigh the cons. I would give them a 4.75 rating, but rounded it to 5 stars. I would definitely recommend it.
