Casa Orinda - Reservar una mesa

Honored by the Valet with a smile and how are you tonight? Surprises me when I took a place and opened the door for us. Entering into a deeply illuminated atmosphere, friendly staff, low music playing a slow jazz in the background, while pictures of cowboys grace the walls, cattle marks on the table and brass tealight oil lamps decorate the tables. The aromas explode from the perfectly boiled chicken in an amazing sauce, as the waiter asked how things were. The food was just amazing. Great parts where a plate would feed the two of us, but happy home some left remnants. The price also reflects the larger shares. But we will return to this hidden Orinda cheek of a place to try the fried chicke...

Classic American house with a wonderful menu. I enjoyed the lamb frame; it was prepared exactly as I ordered, not done over or under. You make a fried chicken dish that is amazing. To dessert, I had a lemon cream cake that tasted like a small piece of heaven. The drinks for the cocktails are generous and the conversation with other girls at the bar made my time even more pleasant here. I'll come back and I suggest you check it out!

We met with another couple for dinner in the past Wed. We sat in a quiet corner so it was easy to catch each other. We ordered a different meal and everyone said their food was made perfection. Our server was in place with his timing. We will definitely make a return visit to Casa Orinda for a date night in the near future.

The place was good, drinks were fine, service was terse, but very capable. The food was fine, but at the price I would have hoped for something special. All in all, I would go back to a chic dinner here if I were stuck in Orinda, but for a $200 meal for 5 I would probably prefer somewhere else.

The Casa is so comfortable, just like being at home, in your own 'casa '. Very kind at reception. Great valet. Generous cocktails. When you order two courses both seem to come together.
