we are seniors and have in many beautiful rest, in ottawa, Mtl,Gatineau and B.C this is the first time that I ever went out of a restorer in my life. have they eaten here several times, we were always satisfied with service and eating. we. sat. at 6 o'clock and sat after a nice chit chat from kathy. After 15 min the waitress finally appeared for our drink wine) . the main washing room was mostly empty at this time. I order a special glass red as I don't like the house red. Shortly after that we have placed our commands. with 7 we had served our tasteless cesarsalates on a bread plate. it looked like the left over hearts of romain salat no green) . I was really hoping I could leave a fantastic review, but we felt disappointed. the service was excellent and we had little waiting time as it is a small restaurant and the size of the menu. but the dishes/drinks did not match the price, especially for cornwall. the drinks were watered. I'm a light weight and usually feel a martini after 2, I didn't feel anything. they were delicious. the food itself was good. the servier sizes for entree were medium-heavy, which they would expect for homemade pasta/high quality. icky rolls that were not refilled (1 per) and no butter. for $200, including tipp, for 2 of us with a common appetizer, it was just a mismatch over expectations against food / bever...
dinner with my wife, mother and sister. we were all in the last 5 years in casa paolo a handful of time, but we all note a decline of food and drink quantity and quality. I ordered steak the last 2 visits, and unfortunately...both paint the steak was not rare, rather medium to medium well made. the drinks were very small vs what would be normal in most restaurants. at the end of our dinner, when I was asked how our dinner was, I opened our collective impressions. we were met with indifference and our care seemed to be minimized, not taken too seriously. our family felt that what once was a wonderful culinary experience has become old and tired. unfortunately we all have the last time we visi...
My wife and I decided to go out on a Wed evening for a much needed relaxing dinner. We were greeted with a big smile as we walked in. The food and service were excellent! The Atmosphere was warm and inviting. All in all a great dinning experience for both my wife and I, we truly enjoyed it. service was exceptional. our waitress seemed to know exactly when it was needed. there were four of us, and everyone gave comments on how good the meal was. the lasagne was to die and the steak melted in the mouth. Anyone who wants to eat for an evening meal, where the food is excellent, will be cared for the best wise, and their paragliding will be appreciated, they try casa paolo.
we had a group event of 40 on Friday, with only one day of announcing the reservation. the employees offered us a limited menu with four choices, as we later visited an event in the evening. the selection was varied, with pasta, huh, kalbsalmon offered. the service eating was great! our whole group had nothing but lob- thanks! highly recommended!
