The service was lacking as well. I ordered guacamole, but it never arrived. When I mentioned it to the waitress after my meal, I made it clear I didn’t want to be charged for it, yet it still appeared on the bill. After dining, we had to ask three times just to get our check. To make matters worse, the check stated that paying in cash would give us a 10% discount, but the bill only showed the full price, along with a surcharge for credit card payments. Were we supposed to just deduct 10% and leave? When we requested change for a $12 bill, they brought us two $1 bills and a $10 bill, making it awkward to tip properly with such large denominations. This is not a restaurant for a quiet dinner for 2. Come in big parties and be prepared to sing! They close at 11pm but their kitchen closes at 10pm. Make sure you get in before 9:30 for meal orders. We had their beef tongue Street tacos. So good. My husband didn’t realize it was beef tongue until I told him. We also loved the mole. So rich and smooth. Warms your whole body. Legit. Their guacamole was not salty at all we loved it! They also give unlimited chips and red and green salsa. For drinks, we had the smallest size of Coronarita look how big that was! I've visited this restaurant several times, and I can confidently say it’s the best Mexican place I've ever tried. I usually order the baked steak, and it’s absolutely delicious! At many other places, the bread used for baked steak falls apart and is greasy, but not here. The bread holds up well and tastes incredibly fresh! As someone new to the area, I’m really glad to have discovered this gem for Mexican food.
