CASA SANSA - Reservar una mesa

My girlfriend and I are vegetarian so we came here as it is listed as one of Perpignan's vegetarian friendly restaurants. I would have to admit that this is a bit misleading: it is a French restaurant with a couple of starter options which happen to be veggie, nothing is catered for vegetarians. However, none of that mattered one jot. We had an array ofstarters which were all lovely, the mustard-butter dip for the bread being a definite highlight. Feeling a bit peckish however we asked for desert. When it arrived the cake looked good, but it was only when the spoon glided so seamlessly through it, tenderly lifting it into your mouth that you knew you were in for a treat. The cake just melted in your mouth, had the deepest richest flavour imaginable: it was truly superb and I think the waiter could tell from our idiotic giggles just how much we enjoyed it.

We are a couple that doesn't really like very formal places although love high quality food and really love value for money (even though we are not short a quid as they say)! This place we noticed on TripAdvisor and looked in. I was immediately struck by the fascinating interior and equally surprised by the amazing food they served! We ordered 3 entrees to share - calamares, ancoisiade and the bacalla (salted cod although tasted amazingly fresh!). Flavors were amazing. We loved everything. Finished with the rich chocolate cake. All pretty amazing, reasonable price, fascinating decor and unfussy service. Highly recommended.

Having tried restaurants in the main square and by the canal and found them expensive and bland we were delighted to find Casa Sensa tucked down an alleyway in the old quarter.We went to sit down outside but all the tables were reserved but a waiter kindly found us a space for four inside.The food and wine were excellent very French/catalan plus great service and good value.If we return to Perpignon we will surely eat here again.

Had an excellent meal here, good range of authentic Catalan dishes. Everything we had was great, house wine good & inexpensive. Would definitely visit again.
