Casa Vina - Reservar una mesa

We visited for dinner based on the great reviews. Clue #1: High tourist season in Paris and we were the only ones in the entire restaurant at dinnertime! (Red flag Clue #2: We were served a dish of broken Doritos as a table appetizer. (Sicilian Doritos? . I ordered a pizza that I enjoyed with exception of the raw egg on top. My wife ordered a Penne Arrabiata and my daughter had a Pesto pasta. For starters, the pasta was overcooked; a critical flaw for an Italian restaurant. Both pasta dishes were not flavorful that is the last thing you'd expect for bold dishes that should have been flavor-forward. Sorry to say but Casa Vina is a pass.

We stumbled in here after a long day of sightseeing (it is across from our equally amazing hotel ale Général) and were not disappointed! The linguine with pesto was perfect, and the veal a la Marsala was the best! The second night we shared the artichoke and mozzarella salad, and both had the large ravioli with ricotta and spinach. The best meals we had in Paris. Bar none! Little mom and pop restaurant just off the beaten path, with reasonable prices, good wines and delicious food. Don’t miss this one!

In front of the hotel (Le General), where we stayed, is a small restaurant with a charming atmosphere, served by its owners in a very friendly way, making feel you like friends coming to their home. Spectacular pastas, pizzas with a great dough and a special atmosphere you have to try everything ... This is a Must of Paris!!!!

We are a family of 4 traveling in Paris. We made reservations at this lovely establishment to be met by the very friendly owners. They not only took good care of us, the food was wonderful.

Really nice pizza place. Simple but tasty. And the staff were exceptionally nice. They even made our pizzas into shapes which was funny and nice.
