Casella's Italian Delicatessen

I love small family owned and run deli's like this one, and this one didn't disappoint. The ladies working behind the counter were great. Very friendly and helpful. I had the meatball sub and it was very tasty. The bread is delicious. My buddy had a turkey sub and he said it was great. The prices are very reasonable. The decor is a little dated but don't let that fool you because the food is really good and the service with a smile was awesome. Would definitely go again if ever in the area.

It's like stepping back in time, but in a good way. They treat you like family and are serving up some seriously good sandwiches. I went with a half and half getting half of their acclaimed chicken salad and half a chicken steak. Flavors were outstanding and the hoagie rolls were among the best I've had. Be sure and bring cash, no cards. However, they do take Venmo if you want. Will I be back? You bet!

The Italian Hoagie is my favorite. I love everything about this place from the old school vibe decor to the awesome hoagies. Casella’s is one of my first stops when I get into Scottsdale. Make sure to bring cash because they are “Cash Only.”

A historic neighborhood institution. I am Saguaro HS class of 1987. The family that owns this place is wonderful. Great food still all these decades later. Excellent! Thank you Casella's! Love, Uncle Kenta

This would be a perfect place for Restaurant Impossible. So dated. My turkey sub literally only had one slice of turkey on. I will never go here again.
