Maria Luisa must be one of the most pleasant and dedicated hosts we have ever met in our travels. We have booked by e-mail, she only asked for our travel details, no advance payment, deposits or document release, simply good manners and good old-fashioned mutual trust. She greeted us at our arrival in her wonderful office and spent no less than 20 minutes to give us local advice as you enjoy Lanzarote best during our 4 days stay. She's passionate about her job and her clients. We heard she speaks fluently several languages. Thanks to it, our stay was special, no chance that we have managed a better agenda on our own, according to any other source of information. The staff also proved professional and friendly. The place is perfectly located in the geographical center of Lanzarote, which makes driving very comfortable to any point on the island. It is a jewel in the island landscape, an old, real, tastefully decorated, well-maintained and guided country house where you feel comfortable. Only enter the property to notice the amazing gardens and volcanic rocks, you can understand everywhere you are in a special place. The rooms have a great balance of elegance and rustic feeling, with comfortable beds, storage space, some dedicated rooms outside and hotel-like equipped, spacious bathroom. We just found our room perfect. Breakfast is served in the restaurant, a good mix of different foods is suggested that we found great, we loved the fresh made tortilla, the Papaya juice suggested by the waiter and the Lavazza coffee machine. Do not expect tons of food, but it is a farm with less than 10 rooms. The restaurant deserves its own mention... It is led by an Italian chef who has managed to impress us over and above to achieve any expectation. If you choose Caserio De Mozaga, try it at least once. The dishes offered are a large mix of recipes from Spain and Canary Islands, with an Italian twist. The menu is complete, but the cook was very happy to come out of the kitchen and suggest other alternatives. We haven't read the menu, and we've made orders to him. All we tried was literally amazing, among the few dishes that we tried a special mention, goes on the seafood arroz meloso that compete with those you have in Valencia, the Octopus fresh pasta (off menu), the croquetas (below the best you ever find in Spain), and the homemade fig ice cream (the best ice cream I have ever tried). If you are planning to visit Lanzarote, do not look further. The best way to book is directly with the accommodation. I hope I have the chance to go back and keep everything as it is at present.
Nos hemos alojado en el caserio la primera semana de Agosto. Punto clave para recorrer la isla y tenerlo todo a 15-20 minutos. Poder descansar en este entorno, en medio de Lanzarote ha sido un lujo. Entorno muy cuidado, siempre impecable, camas súper cómodas y trato espectacular (Patricia, por las mañanas cuida de ti y se acuerda de lo que tomas y como lo tomas. Te prepara la mesa dónde sabe que vas a estar agusto… vaya, pequeños detalles que marcan la diferencia! . Recomendado, ¡nosotros seguro que volvemos!
