This restaurant is based in Carcassonne Airport. I had lunch here in December 2013 and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. This was one of the best meals I had in France. My experience of Airport food has not been good and to find such great food in this Airport was quite a surprise for me. I had a starter, main course and dessert plus wine at of cost of €23 it was excellent value. I had smoked salmon to start which was served with courgettes and peppers. For main course I had Duck with sausage and beans in a casserole and crème caramel for dessert. There was a buffet menu also available that looked delicious and an a la carte menu.
We had decided to try the place out as the whole airport had just been redone...this is one to miss especially for a full menu. We took the menu de jour...salad hardly any vinaigrette and what looked like the better part of a pot of sesame seeds , grilled lamb so much fat and slightly undercooked along with bits of some kind of fallen veg soufflé and Poire bell Helen the canned pear was a few days past it's throw away date will not do it again. A few people in snack bar area and we sat alone in restaurant. Should have known better.
