that eating turned out to be very good, but we would probably make it a midday destination................not dinner! a fairly limited menu. they have alcohol, but also very limited options. it is quite casual; nothing imaginative, but again....it turns out that we like to eat it! we have made the mistake to wait for ten days to make a reservation for Valentine's Day dinner, which at this time all better options have already been booked! who knew? next year we will book in the januar!

the ambiente was nice enough to be a large room that was mostly empty when I was there. I would imagine it would be loud if it were really busy. service was in order, and the house dark beer from the barrel was excellent. but the osso buco was Bavarian style. was hard and not so tasteful, and the brezeknodel was bland. Maybe they do better with real Bavarian classmates, but what I was served was in a cut.

Local produce prepared by a really good chef guarantee a great meal whether you choose meat, veggie or something sweet. Friendly waitresses mean you enjoy your meal even more. Lovely hidden beer garden, too I travel 80 miles each time to meet friends here,...highly recommended restaurant.

A local couple took me to this place after arriving an Amburg and I'm glad they did. We went the night of it's 10 year anniversary and ate outdoors. The food was delicious, the beer was good, and the locals were very friendly. A great...restaurant in a charming town.

excellent service. Whenever I come back in the last 10 years to amberg from cairns australia, I will visit this place .. beautiful atmosphere. beautiful beer garden. central position.
