If you haven't been to Casper's or heard of casper's, I don't think you've lived in Springfield very long. Casper's chili is a famous local staple. I guess I'm not here to talk about Casper's chili, I'm not a big fan of chili at all but Casper's has otherthings on the menu that I absolutely love. How good could a grilled ham and cheese sandwich or cheeseburger possibly be right? Iknow I've had a lot of bad ones but I can't really put my finger on what makes Casper's sandwiches so good. After I eat here, I understand why casper took so long. the burger was one of the best I've ever eaten. the woofer rings were absolutely perfect, and the chili was only beyond words, good. the atmosphere brings them back to a place that forgets time (1909), before the first world war, before the hectic of life. and the server was just a hoot. she was one of the best I've ever seen. she ran the 29 seat quonset hütte and registers as if she could have danced. a look at us and she knew exactly what we wanted before we even ordered. Casper's is one of the top burger spots in town, possibly even the best. Although I will miss the cozy original location, I am excited for the potential for more space for the restaurant to expand. It was a frequent stop for me during my lunch break, as it was a short walk from the office. The entire operation was run by only 2 or 3 people at a time; Marcy, in particular, was exceptional and should be given a raise when they reopen. She truly is the best!

This is a little hole in the wall diner but the food was amazing and we left overstuffed with plenty to pack home and it was very affordable. Its a small place but the customer service was fantastic. I had the best burger and chill ever at this restaurant. The owner and waitresses were amazing. My whole family enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a delicious, homemade burger away from the typical fast food options. The quality and service are comparable to what you would find in America.

During our visit from Southern California, we stumbled upon this charming restaurant. The food and atmosphere were fantastic. I highly recommend giving this place a try, as you will not be disappointed. We tried the Chili-Cheeseburger, French fries, and regular cheeseburger, and they were all delicious.

I visited Casper about a week ago, and I have to say it was fantastic! The food, especially the chili, was delicious. The waitress was also incredibly friendly, even recommending certain items since it was my wife and I's first time there. We will definitely be returning soon!
