We had already tried to book without success, we did not regret to have persevered. The welcome is warm; very nice service. You are offered menus on slate to compose according to your hunger. In the entrance, warm asparagus was tasted with salad and a small delicious cream sauce, bread is very good: baguette or bread seeds; The charcuterie plate is enjoyed with pleasure and the pea salad makes happy. Afterwards, we discovered veal paleron: melting! with potato jumped, turnip and carrots: beautiful harmony. The tuna and its risotto: only happiness, the melting tab, cooked to perfection. The wine list: very long but well made. We ate on the terrace (a few tables), very pleasant!

We had dinner at this little restaurant tucked away in the less touristy part of Tours. The food was amazing and Patricia was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu in English. We had the 3-course meal and every course was exceptional! We had salads for starters, fish and veal for the mains and chocolate cake and rhubarb compote. The fish was cooked perfectly and the veal just melted in your mouth. Of special mention was the chocolate cake - the centre consisted of melting chocolate! Don't miss this restaurant when you are in Tours! We highly recommended it.

tested on Friday evening of May, this address convinced me by the quality of the service and the dishes offered: a delicious white asparagus plate, a fresh cream fish dish and a successful broccoli, a assortment of cheeses that I would have liked a little more provided and a nice dessert of strawberries with whipped. the wines served proved to be of great quality: a nice champagne, a wine of honorable savoy and especially a voluptuous chinon 2015 old vines from alliet philippe. This restaurant is a nugget.

I can't tell you how amazing our experience at Casse Cailloux was. Patricia and Hervé are just the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is to die for and the wine list is really quite amazing. It was truly the best meal we had in France and what made it so special is connecting with Patricia and Hervé the owners. They made us feel welcome and almost a part of their family. Can't say enough great things. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation!
