We had already tried to book without success, we did not regret to have persevered. The welcome is warm; very nice service. You are offered menus on slate to compose according to your hunger. In the entrance, warm asparagus was tasted with salad and a small delicious cream sauce, bread is very good: baguette or bread seeds; The charcuterie plate is enjoyed with pleasure and the pea salad makes happy. Afterwards, we discovered veal paleron: melting! with potato jumped, turnip and carrots: beautiful harmony. The tuna and its risotto: only happiness, the melting tab, cooked to perfection. The wine list: very long but well made. We ate on the terrace (a few tables), very pleasant!

It's one of my favorite restaurants in towers. very fresh and seasonal products. the chef is located in the market or in the halls (market covered with towers). The kitchen is always at the height respect for raw materials and taste.I tasted the "risotto di blettes" a marvel! cooked as it should be, the chef has been able to exalt the ingredients in an exciting way!So the chef is very good and also the wife who deals with the dining room and wines (excellent wine cellar) amici italiani if you are looking for a tour restaurant do not waste time go to the Casse-Cailloux!I advise you to book!

The restaurant is well hidden within the towers.No tables, you have to book long in advance: good sign! The interior is comfortable without chichi. You're a little like home and the boss is very friendly. the boss is visible at the bottom of the room when giving the dishes. There is a nice effort of flavor with uncommon weddings of tastes of good outfit. The fish, the bar for example, is perfectly cooked. everything is fresh and tasty. The wine map has beautiful products at moderate prices. a beautiful balance quality price overall for these flavors. A nice place to know about the whole world.

We had dinner at this little restaurant tucked away in the less touristy part of Tours. The food was amazing and Patricia was very friendly and helpful in explaining the menu in English. We had the 3-course meal and every course was exceptional! We had salads for starters, fish and veal for the mains and chocolate cake and rhubarb compote. The fish was cooked perfectly and the veal just melted in your mouth. Of special mention was the chocolate cake - the centre consisted of melting chocolate! tested on Friday evening of May, this address convinced me by the quality of the service and the dishes offered: a delicious white asparagus plate, a fresh cream fish dish and a successful broccoli, a assortment of cheeses that I would have liked a little more provided and a nice dessert of strawberries with whipped. the wines served proved to be of great quality: a nice champagne, a wine of honorable savoy and especially a voluptuous chinon 2015 old vines from alliet philippe. I can't tell you how amazing our experience at Casse Cailloux was. Patricia and Hervé are just the sweetest people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The food is to die for and the wine list is really quite amazing. It was truly the best meal we had in France and what made it so special is connecting with Patricia and Hervé the owners. They made us feel welcome and almost a part of their family. Can't say enough great things. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation!
