after all the day in beautifully fililles, I was in an urgent need of coffee: the train dropped me in champs de mars (near the ice tower) and the first thing I saw was this pretty caffe. I went in, and the guy welcomed. I was very nice, he asked me what I need, so I said I'm just going to have a coffee for those who leave. he pointed me to the cashier and went. Behind the theke was an Indian man, he saw me approaching him and the first thing he said was "Come on! what do you want? I was shocked by this manierism, but I thought it could be the difference in the speech. Some sound aggressive, but they don't really mean it. This cafe is literally around the corner from the metro and the Eiffel Tower so you will more than likely pass it. Just keep walking. We ran into the cafe because of a thunderstorm ... the service was rushed and the waiters did not listen, the drinks were watered down and not at all what was expected, and the food when it arrived was not what was ordered. Normally I would tell a waiter this, but no one checked in on us. Aside from the bad food, drinks and service, the place is filthy. The decorations on the wall behind us were covered with fruit flies and machines we could see at the bar from our table had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. Advisory to all, do not ever ever visit this cafe at all cost! Their menu stated fixed price is a scam! They extort so called tips from customers forcefully. Given them cash and they refused to return the change citing mandatory tips for service! Food...is mediocre and service sux big time! Go read the Google reviews of the restaurant as well, apparently we are not the only victims, they have done these to many tourists! Shame of them! They should be reported to the local authority for unethical business and scam!

I just loved their nicoise salad, it was the best I have ever had, it was a relaxed feel. Being from Australia, it was hard to know how to order a cappuccino, for the french it is a long black with a dollop of milk froth on top, sprinkled with coco. I wanted extended milk base, but in Paris, it is hard to explain that. It was my favourite relaxing stop before a hectic day of touring the sites of Paris. Reserva una mesa ahora

My family and I came here after spending the evening at the Eiffel tower. We decided to have a drink before heading back to the hotel. As you can imagine it was expensive, but it was a nice place to be. I had a stein (1 litre) of beer for 15€, it was pricey but it was especially worth it as was my birthday, and I wasn't paying so I can't complain. Would love to return.

the service was excellent, and the food was the best we had during our entire trip in France. excellent everything! we had the French woof soup, which was completely authentic and at the end of our meal we had crêpes royale.

Be careful coming to this cafe. The owners are aggressive and keep your valuables close if you have to eat. It might get stolen by the staff.
