I was visiting Paisley for 5 days and enjoyed Castelvecchis hospitality, delicious,generous portions of food, and, Fred, Linda and entire staff are the kindest, warmest people. I was there to meet their wonderful son, which I was lucky enough to do, but meeting Fred and Linda was so very special to me. Thank you for the warm welcome.
amazing eating, great staff! polite, clean place small, but well organized! for years! I have served my chips since I was now 11 years old in my 30s and my children love it! mhm mars bars and batter: can't say anything wrong or bad about it! keep the good work for the personal! I hope we have many years to come with the load.
This used to be a superb chippy but standards have plummeted. I ordered a takeaway Haddock supper £9:50) and it was frankly terrible. Soggy yellow chips and a decent sized fish in more soggy batter. I ate the fish and a couple of chips and what was left went in the midden.

Been going here for over 40 years, still go up from Ayrshire for a hamburger supper sit in. Love the sectors the same and staff been there for decades. Great service great food, what more could you ask for. Best in the West for sure.
I’ve been coming here since I was a boy and whenever I’m back in Paisley it’s a must for me.I’ve had fish and chips all over the U.K. and really and truly the Haddock supper here cannot be beaten..anywhere.Second to none.
