Castro's - Reserva de mesa

I find myself thinking about the brisket sandwich every couple of weeks. It’s the best brisket sandwich I’ve ever tasted, and nothing else has even come close. The side of pickled beans is surprisingly excellent as well; it pairs wonderfully with the already incredible brisket sandwich. My friends ordered different dishes, but I was so absorbed in my sandwich that I didn’t pay much attention to theirs. I’m sure their meals were good too!

Staff was cold, annoyed and rude. You order at the counter and then sit down. My tres leches French toasts were burnt but taste was alright, fruits were fresh. It looks instagrammable but tasted mediocre. Coffee was bad and overall I wouldn’t come back. Quite expensive for what you get and the staff doesn’t make it better.

Best meal I’ve had in Hawaii after being here a week. Who knew it would be giant pork-packed Cubano! Highly recommend this hidden gem tucked away at the very end of the strip. Service was above and beyond, too, even though you order at the counter.

Something about naming your restaurant after a dictator that attracted me here. But overall I'd skip the food here and only grab coffee and maybe a dessert. The Ropa vieja was definitely old. Outside of that, the cafecito was good. Reserva una mesa ahora

I had a disappointing experience with the customer service at this restaurant. The waitress was quite overbearing, which made the visit less enjoyable. I wouldn't recommend dining here.

Not Authentic Cuban…no plantains or rice. The Ropa Vieja sándwich was more was like flank steak sliced in pieces. The server was good and seemed overworked

The portion size is generous and overall quite sweet. I left feeling satisfied because there were so many delicious brunch options.
