Catalina Island Brew House

I love the support of independent coffee houses. Overall, this place has a good coffee, but for some reason they are mistaken that every latte is a mocha. No matter what you order, you go out with a mocha. A mocha is a chocolate bar. A latte is espresso coffee and steamed milk. I ordered Caramel Latte three times during my stay in Catalina and three times went with a mocha. The girl that made it looked upset when I said I ordered a caramel latte and repeated Mocha to me. They also write it wrong on the cup. I think a little refreshment is necessary that a latte is not a mocha. All mochas are latte, but not all lattes are mochas. But I'd rather go there than Starbucks. Luckily, I like mochas....

My husband and I visited Catalina Island for the first time, but unfortunately, I was feeling seasick and unwell. In search of a break, we happened upon this coffee shop and decided to order an Americano, a blueberry scone, and a blueberry muffin. To our delight, the baked goods were incredibly fresh and warm, with a wonderful texture. The attentive staff made us feel comfortable and helped lift my spirits. I highly recommend this place—trust me!

The menu was limited, but I quite enjoyed the pizzas that we ordered from there. They were were a good portion size, for the cost. The service was good and the location is obviously tremendous. Given how many areas there are to eat in this location of Avalon, I would definitely recommend this one for vegetarians or people looking for something other than seafood or Mexican.

Really cute coffee spot on Catalina Island. We stopped in Catalina during a cruise and we're craving some coffee. Found this spot and we really liked it. We ordered 2 caramel mochas. They were really good. There were some other flavors for coffees as well.Will be back if we are ever in Catalina again. Reserva una mesa ahora

I visited this spot on the Disney Wonder while we were exploring Catalina. I was craving a beer, so we decided to stay, and I’m so glad we did! The service was fantastic, and the beer flight was impressive. They even treated us to a complimentary pulp. Overall, it was a wonderful experience!

Enjoying an IPA at 9 AM is the perfect way to kick off a weekend getaway! The atmosphere at this place was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. Plus, one of their IPAs even comes with bread! I’d give it a perfect 10/10.

It was great to grab a coffee and breakfast before embarking on the Trans Catalina Trail. They open Early enough that you can catch the 6 a.m. ferry from Long Beach to Avalon and they open at 7 a.m.Food: 5/5
