This is the most fabulous place. We loved it. We are a group of friends staying for a weekend at Mawgan Porth.. and after a lovely walk along the coast path on Sunday afternoon popped in, hoping we could just get a drink but thought that might not be welcome being a Sunday lunchtime and not wanting to eat. Well.... we needn't have worried. They could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Gave us a massive table all together (with the dog... and gave her biscuits)... and of course... one drink became several.... and we then decided we would have some small plates of food too. The Waiter really topped off our experience for us (Waiter in the photo). Someone filled with so much energy and joy! The food was also well priced and delicious. Between us we experienced the Mussels, Fish and Chips, Fish goujons and the Beef Sunday Dinner. The beef was cooked to PERFECTION. The Mussels were the BIGGEST Mussels I've ever seen, and there were no closed up shells. I also have to mention, the Hot Chocolate with a shot of Bayleys, perfect for a cold stroll on the beach. Visited catch seafood bar and grill last night for my birthday!! Myself and partner had an amazing evening! The staff were brilliant and even made us a couple of cocktails which weren’t on the menu!! Look out for raspberry mojitos on the menu soon!! The food was beautiful! Even tried some oysters which were delicious!! Highly recommend this place!! We will be back!! Went there to celebrate my birthday with friends, the food was delicious and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. I went back for Sunday lunch and again welcomed by super friendly staff and again food was excellent. A little gem be the sea, perfect. Great food and overall environment. Very good service. Update I've visited this place several times and it is definitely one of the best restaurants not just in Paso but in the Central Coast. Sitting at the bar is a great experience, specially if you get to speak with Chico while he is preparing the different dishes.
