Category 36 Taphouse Kitchen

As a tourist, I have been extremely disappointed in the lame draft beer selection at most St. Pete Beach bars. Only a few draft beers and the same ones at almost every place. Category 36 was and is a refreshing find. 36 rotating beers on tap. An outstanding selection. Their menu has just as much selection as their taps. The food is very good and obviously prepared with pride. This place does not disappoint. I highly recommend it. Craig, the owner, is very like-able guy despite being a an Ohio State fan (don’t hold that against him. I’m a Michigan fan). This place is worth your time.

I only tried the beers from their impressive selection of craft taps, but I'm looking forward to sampling their menu soon. I've heard great things about the Korean wings and Gyros, claiming they're authentic and delicious. Update 8/13/2022: I returned to enjoy food and beer. The Stromboli was absolutely fantastic! The pizzas looked enticing (though I didn’t get a chance to try one), and the wings appeared really appetizing. The place is under new ownership, and they are doing a fantastic job! I’ll definitely be back!

Can't believe it took us 2 years to stop in! I did not know they had food and we were pleasantly surprised! They make their dough, sauces/dips/dressings in house, and home made chips! Was thrilled to see an outstanding selection of draft beer including our favorite Unsteady Fready from Gulfport Brewery and Eatery! Food was fresh and delicious Craig, Kyle, and Thomas were all very hospitable, knowledgeable, and friendly! We will be back, weekly I'm sure!

I discovered this restaurant while on vacation, and I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious, the hot chips were crispy, and the stromboli was fantastic. The service was excellent as well. I will definitely return. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere all 5 out of 5. I highly recommend the gyro, stromboli, and hot chips! Reserva una mesa ahora

We ordered the Stromboli, a personal pizza, and a chicken Parmesan sandwich. When the food arrived, it not only looked amazing but tasted just as delicious! We loved everything about our meal; the atmosphere was inviting and friendly. I highly recommend this place! Thanks for the wonderful experience!

Delicious food and great drinks! This bar near OSU offers friendly service and tasty meals. I visited after a day of fishing in the area and was impressed by how quickly my food arrived and how flavorful the Italian sandwich was. I will certainly come back again!

This is definitely the top spot in town for catching The Ohio State Buckeyes games, but it's the food that will have you returning time and time again. I would give them 6 stars if I could! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The pizza was exceptional, and the service was excellent. The price per person ranged from $20 to $30. I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
