The owner is amazing. We had driven in from Dallas and planned on making Catfish Charlie's our first stop. But it closes early on Sundays. We returned on Monday and the Manager walked up to greet us. He suggested a menu item but we already knew what we wanted. We explained how we love eating there when visiting and the disappointment that we felt when we learned it was closed for the day. He apologized when he did not have to. After we sat down to eat, a waitress came over to our table and delivered the dish that he suggested but we did not order. SOOOOO DELICIOUS. Southern hospitality at its finest!
First and last time getting good from them. Not only is the drive-through cockeyed and difficult to get to the window, the cashier was less than helpful. While my order was right, the cost was not worth the food that I paid for. Plus they charged me a non-cash fee. Terrible place to eat. Too expensive. The employees don’t know what’s going on. And charging me a fee because I used a credit card without telling me. Not the kind of place I want to spend my hard earned money!
This place used to be such a nice place to eat. Now, Service is terrible, food was cold from being set out to long. Very dissatisfied! Finally after 30 minutes had to ask if our food was ready, one meal was and had been sitting on the counter for a lil while, and wasn't warm at all and the other wasn't even cooked yet. The fish fries and shrimp was great. I wasn't a fan of the hush puppies though. The Dine in area is nothing fancy but it's comfortable and inviting. The service was friendly and helpful. The fountain drinks were perfect and they even have an icee machine. I'll definitely visit again.
