Updating my review from 5 stars to one star. Do NOT COME HERE. I repeat. Came in on June 8th, and had Jon as our server. It was one of his first days working here, he was the absolute sweetest, most caring, took above and beyond excellent care of us and had an amazing experience thanks to his service. Came back 2 days later asking for him, one of his co workers said he was fired. I said there’s no way he way he was an excellent server, one of the best I had in a long time. His co worker told me( she herself was very upset too and couldn’t believe it) their manager fired him for absolutely no reason. Co worker said he was doing his job excellent. Tried this restaurant today 5/18/22? had been wanting to stop in before but could never find time. Ordered out, my food was sealed upon delivery so I?m happy about that. I love okra so it was delicious but the fish on the other hand was very bland and burnt?! Not sure how it?s being seasoned prior to frying but the seasoning isn?t sticking. Hush puppies were delicious as well. I would say I?ll be returning but upon eating my mean I find a piece of hair fried onto my fish so yea it?s a definite no for me!

Server was cold and dismissive. Started walking away before we were done placing our orders. The food was hot and came out very quickly, which is awesome, but one of my pieces of fish smelled very off and I expected more food for the price. This place has potential and I?m hoping my experience was not how they typically treat customers. My rating mostly reflects the experience here and not the food.

First time eating here. Decided to give it a go since I?m always looking for a good catfish house. I really enjoyed the catfish and the appetizers I tried were great as well. Really good place! I highly recommend it!

We only had a great family dinner! The Cajun crispy catfish was so delicious and not fat! The Po-Junge had really good bread. The fried green tomatoes are a must! Thanks for a great culinary experience.
