Stopped in while visiting a friend in the area. It was not busy, late afternoon. Location is great, right off the main highway. Once we got inside we waited for about 10 min to be seated , no one came to protium to seat us. When we did finally get to a table in the large dinning area the smell of the food was great. I always enjoy going to this restaurant with my grandparents! We've turned it into a bit of a tradition. We typically have a waitress named Angel, who I believe has been working there since we returned after the fire. Honestly, we've been going there for almost my entire life! The place is clean and has a friendly atmosphere, the food is great, and the prices are very reasonable. It always leaves me with a sense of comfort.
I got fish and shrimp to go, and the aroma in the car was so enticing that I ended up eating half of it before I could take any photos! Here are my leftovers: 3 pieces of fish, 6 shrimp, baked potatoes, and a bean salad, along with a Slav Salad Bar where you can serve yourself as much as you'd like! (I also got macaroni salad.) If you're passing through Livingston, you absolutely have to stop here!
If you're going to Niskila to gamble life highly recommend you stop here to eat before you go there because the food is way cheaper here in my opinion. It's also way better. You could literally get 2 to 3 plates of food here for the price of one plate of food there. Don't believe me, find out for yourself. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice, clean appearance inside and outside. The staff was fabulous! Fair prices. The catfish was delicious and perfectly cooked. I didn't care about the Koleslawin, it was a kind of gland and I like my lush puppies a little more on the sweet side. All in all, I would recommend this restaurant.
Great price and open salad bar. Could've gotten a salad bar and chicken strips and been good. Good portions. Fried Food was good, but not fantastic. Everyone was working hard, but they definitely need more help during rush hour. Would return if in the area.
I had a wonderful dining experience! The food was fantastic, and the staff was incredibly friendly. I dined in for dinner, and the price per person was around $10–20. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5!
The food was good, though a bit on the understated side today. However, the staff did their best to manage a very busy lunch crowd. It's clear that this is a popular spot among locals.
