Cattinalla's Caffe + Wine Bar

I've been here a few times now but my fave is the homemade pappardelle pasta with pesto & olives (with spec added just because I asked if they could). The boys suggested an Italian chianti that I tried for the first time - delicious! This is a partnership of genuine & honest people. Fantastic service with passionate, authentic food in a homely caffe steeped with historical family pride. A must if you're eating out in Traralgon.

If you blink you'll miss this tiny place, so don't blink! The two of us shared the beautiful arrancini starter (5 for $13) and a special lamb shank ragu on pappardelle pasta ($22), both mouthwateringly delicious. The Narkoojee Shiraz ($36) was the perfect drop for the food. The service was efficient and friendly. Our only suggestion to the restaurant would be to soften the harsh lighting. But no big deal. We'll be back.

Lucky us for living within walking distance of this place in Traralgon (T-town). I work just of Lygon Street in Melbourne - and live between T-town and Melbourne - and Cattinalla's rates highest of the Italian fair that I have experienced thus far. So very lucky to have such a wonderful spot so so close. If only there fast rail between Melbourne and T-town….. the folks in Melbourne would be coming here for dinner!

Beautiful food and service. Can't wait to graze my way through this menu. Not a large menu but something for everyone. Hand made pasta is amazing.

A great place to eat and drink at, even for private functions it's wonderful. Would recommend this place.
