I came to eat here with my family a few weekends ago and the food was fine. Now me and my partner came back up here to visit Louisville and the food was subpar at best. My steak was entirely flavorless and fries were cold. My partner could say the same about their steak. Waitress seemed to be in a very off mood, which kind of ruined the experience. I work in food service so I understand the stresses of it but me and my partner were giving 0 problems to our waitress so I didn’t really understand the cold shoulder attitude. First of all, as soon as we entered, the two girls at the hostess desk were chatting with each other and it was several minutes before they even looked up and acknowledged us although I was only inches away. We go to this location on Friday night with a group of people after playing pickleball. Our age group is late 52 to 65. The servers are always accommodating and very friendly as well. Rosie, who works the salad bar is especially friendly and smiling.The food is usually tasty, well prepared, and the salad bar is the best. Last week, my sweet potato came out under done. My server promptly brought me a new one that was prepared correctly. We appreciate having a place to go that is consistently good and clean. To be fair, I just love Texas Roadhouse. So unless Cattleman's can match TR steaks, the food is unlikely ever to be a 5 star from me. That being said, I had the Prime Rib and it was Good. Not great, but good. What was great was the Margarita! A lot of restaurants give you a lot of ice in a small glass and call that a drink. My Margarita came in a medium sized glass. We were planning a surprise party for my grandmother's 80th birthday, and I have to mention how incredible the service was! The manager, Gary (I hope I got that right), along with our waitress Mandy and her assistant, were all so welcoming and friendly. They were especially kind to my grandmother, which meant a lot to us. The food was absolutely delicious, and we can't forget the rolls or the salad bar—especially the broccoli salad, which was a standout. We're truly grateful to the staff for their help in organizing the surprise party and for allowing us to come in early to set up some decorations. I would give you a thousand stars if I could. My friend and mom told me there was an incredible salad bar, and I was definitely impressed by the variety of options available! However, I would absolutely return for the hot rolls and potato soup; they were simply delicious. The service was excellent as well!
The restaurant felt a bit overpriced, and the steak was only average. Personally, I’m not inclined to return, as I believe there are much better options for the price. However, the service was excellent.
Child portions for a to-go lunch order. Burger was very dry and flavorless, to the point it was inedible. Honestly expected better than fastfood quality, but got much worse.
