Bustly and full of fun, just as a dumpling house should be! Enjoyed the vegetarian buns, the prawn and pumpkin dumplings, spring rolls and vege noodles. Everything was piping hot, bang on point flavour wise and efficiently served. The wait staff did their best to get us a table as quickly as possible, but looked completely run off their feet to be honest!
Stopped in for dinner on a Monday night and this restaurant was packed - always a good sign of great food....and we weren't disappointed Delicious food which came out really fast after ordering Staff were friendly, attentive and efficient Mr4 loved the house made noodles Dumplings were delicious as were our other meals A must for lovers of Asian cuisine
My friend and i saw a lot of people cueing up to this place and so we thought this must be good. The place was big and the wait wasnt that long. When we finally had the chance to eat, I liked that the food serving was really big and they tasted good too. It looks like a good place to have lunch and dinner with family or a group of friends.
This is a busy place. We quite liked the noise and bustle. We have never been to a dumpling house before and were unfamiliar with the food. The waiter was excellent and helped us order a delightful selection of food. The pork dumplings were amazing. Even my fussy 8 year old enjoyed all of the dishes. A hit with the kids and adults. The Dumpling House is easily Civic's best Chinese food. An amazing menu with the freshest ingredients and the best flavours. This is a busy restaurant which is always busy - and it's obvious why. Book your table and settle in for a quick but delicious meal: try the salt and pepper tofu; outstanding!
Old favourite for eat in and takeaway options. Dumplings are always steaming hot and freshly made. Noodle and rice dishes never fail to disappoint, either. Service could be improved but the introduction of their iPad ordering system has certainly made things more accurate and efficient.
While visiting in Canberra..... we lined up to check out this bustling restaurant. Nice layout and prompt servicing. The dumplings were good, although slightly bland and ordinary. Prices vs portion was fair. I’m guessing it’s one of the local favourites.
This place!!! We'd just come from a facility event, it was quite late on a Sunday late. Not only did they still let us do a last minute order while they were closing up shop, the food was fantastic!! Reserva una mesa ahora
Very yum. Reasonable pricing as well. Only disappointment was the steamed dumplings seemed to stick together in the box however I doubt that could be avoided.
