Brilliant! We are touring around Tiree for my wife 's birthday. Our visit to Ceabhar has been the crowning glory of a great time on Tiree.Duncan is a great host we felt welcome even before we pulled in to the drive with our bikes! He has a friendly manner that more than matches the peaceful setting of Sandaig.The food was excellent, we each had 3 courses and coffee. Brilliant locally sourced ingredients prepared well is very difficult to beat. I had smoked Venison to start followed by Lobster and then Pavlova. I visited Tiree with my girlfriend and her family for the first time, and the 4 day trip could not have ended any better than with Duncan and Polly's hospitality. Met with friendly smile when we entered and the taste of Duncan's home-made gin they could not have been more welcoming. We chatted with the host and then before we knew it the food arrived. I ordered the steak, my girlfriend the catch of the day, the vegetarian option and pizza was also ordered. All of it was spectacular. I would have expected the same from a city centre top restaurant and here I was surprised at the quality being offered here. We ate here a couple of times during our week on Tiree.The menu is limited in term of choice and if you don 't eat early you run the risk of not having the full choice as dishes seem to be prepared in small numbers and when they 're gone, they 're gone.That 's not to say the food is poor, far from it. Well prepared and served.A very good selection of beers and Duncan (the owner) is now brewing his own.I 'm never keen on we don 't serve chips here though.

Beautiful location overlooking either the sea or the machair.A good choice of food which was excellently presented and cooked. Able and willing to adapt menu and catered for my coeliac wife. The service in this family run restaurant.was also first class. The restaurant is relatively small and has limited opening hours so it is advisor book well in advance to ensure a table.
Last year we are here when on island for Ultra and enjoyed a devious meal so our return visit with 2 of our 3 sons did not disappoint thanks Duncan and Polly again hope you have a great holiday and see you again hopefully
Had a wonderful evening here recently . Our hosts were wonderful , my pizza was fab and the microbrewery tour was very informative. I love how this couple work together well done
Warmest of welcomes and great food. Combination of soup, pizza, steak and gougere pastry dish were all superb. The desserts too were deeelicious. Highlight of our trip!

This restaurant is a delight. The welcome, service and food is excellent. Definitely to be recommended and to return to. Thank you for two most enjoyable evenings.
No visit to Tiree would be complete without a visit to this amazing little restaurant.
