4.5. They have a lot of great things and some just okay things. It has a cool, hipster millennial vibe to it with a fun atmosphere. This is not the place to go if you are looking for authentic Mexican. I love the creativity they have on the menu and it makes me want to try everything! The drink menu is especially fun. I had the lemon blueberry margarita. I?m normally not a tequila gal, but this was pretty good. For food, we had the Korean short rib six pack and two al pastor tacos. I preferred the meat of al pastor. I was not a fan of the double taco shells as they made the tacos a tad dry. The rice was great as a side. We also had the street corn, which unfortunately, tasted extremely bland...
For our main course, we ordered several tacos: Korean short rib, spicy crispy chicken, coconut shrimp, shrimp and chorizo, and al pastor. The Korean short rib and shrimp chorizo were my favorites; all the tacos were flavorful, although I found them a bit on the smaller side. For dessert, we indulged in churros with chocolate sauce, which were delightful—just the right amount of sweetness and perfectly crisp. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, enhancing our experience. Overall, the restaurant has a fun atmosphere but can get quite loud. Parking can be tricky, as it’s street parking only and somewhat limited. While it wouldn’t be my top choice for Mexican cuisine, I wouldn’t hesitate...
My first visit was fantastic! The aesthetic of the restaurant is wonderful, and the view is just lovely. There are plenty of outdoor seating options, including picnic tables and a back deck with a nice view of the trees and passing trains. The interior is spacious, with a bar area where you can also dine. The food was excellent, and I can't wait to share this gem with my family and friends and recommend they give it a try. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, and the service was quick for our food and drinks.
First time here, but I've driven past at least 300 times because it's on my way home from work. I always have wanted to try this place because it is always HOPPING in the evenings when I passed it. Well I outsmarted the crowds today and lunch is the time to go! And it was a beautiful experience. The staff is very efficient and nice, not overbearing at all. The atmosphere is lively and fun. The margaritas were outstanding. I appreciate the smaller portion sizes, as it allows you to sample a variety of tacos. We tried the Korean short rib, carnitas, and Brussels sprouts. All of them were delicious, although the Brussels sprouts were slightly overcooked. Additionally, the salsa that was supposed to be spicy ended up being more of a mild to medium heat.
My wife wanted to eat Mexican food, and since I saw that this place is always filled with people, I brought her here. Food was served very quickly. We ordered three tacos and a nacho. All of them were great. Fried Avocado taco was my favorite. It was slightly spicy but was amazingly good. Sprout Brussel taco was sweet. Brussel was also well cooked and soft. The shrimp coconut taco was also good.
Very nice atmosphere. Not a large menu but that was ok for me. Food was good and reasonably priced. Food comes out as it's made and it was pretty quick after we ordered. Drinks were also good and didn't taste watered down for the price. I definitely plan on going back.
