Nice day...so decided to have lunch with a friend at one of the many places by the lake at Grandson....selected the Circle de la voile ! A really nice terrasse overlooking the Yacht club and lake ! Ordered Filet de perche and some local rose wine...the fish was good, but a bit dry, it needed a little bit of "beurre noisette" to correct this, now price wise it was more than reasonable as for frs.30.- you get a nice salade and pomme allumettes "maison". Reading some of the negative commentaries about not being from the lake....they should be preparex to pay at least frs.45 to 50 for them....as there is only a limited catch ! And then they would complain that it's too expensive...The sevice was...
Nice setting ,by the lake it give you that holiday feeling, the place was busy for a Monday , the staff were pleasant but hassled by buisness clientele once they gone the staff were more relaxed and found the smile again, the food was ok we had filets of perches but not from the lake ( Canadian May be ) the salad was fresh but nothing special , the chips average but you could tell the oil was fresh so they tasted ok. The dessert was commercial, but the setting made it up ,would we go again yes on a sunny day.
a beautiful location with a view of the marina at the southern end of the lake. there is a dining room and an outside terrace that was an excellent place to lunch when we were there. overall it is a pleasant place and eating and service...was good and ok in this order. a very good salad is as an appetizer with the main. I enjoyed the little fish that were well prepared and presented. prices comparable to the local area.
Very pleasant location directly on the lakeside looking over the marina. Very friendly and attentive waitress. It's a pity that the cuisine is just not what it used to be since the restaurant changed ownership. Salad with insipid sauce. Perch fillets under-cooked, french fries over-cooked! Just a good place to have a drink on the terrace.

Good, classic, expensive meal. Fish is not from the Neuchatel lake but somewhere from Germany... Once sitting there, I gave up after 15 minutes waiting for the waiter to come and greet us.

beautifully located on the lake (harbour) we had a great diner with friends here. good delicious local cuisine, we will be back!
friendly service and attentive, we had a roastbeef that was overcooked and a tagine that was average with its ingredients
