C&g's Country Cafe

Always happy to share restaurants that allow for gluten free options that can bring ALL members of family and friends together to share a meal. The menu was clearly marked and offered more than just eggs for a celiac person. Waffles, pancakes, French toast!! All 6 of us enjoyed every meal. This small venue in a strip mall is a casual gem. Only open until 2 pm, breakfast or lunch is available on the menu. We enjoyed fluffy, airy pancakes, GF French toast, corned beef hash, eggs Benedict with pork roll, and good ole grits. Moderately priced with a relaxed atmosphere. We'll be back to try the lunch menu options. Also hoping to check out their other location in Bayville NJ.

The excitement of going out for breakfast has always come from discovering new places to try, but C G Cafe has changed that for me. I don’t feel the need to explore anywhere else because they truly have it all! I absolutely love this little cafe. The menu offers a great variety, the food is consistently delicious, and the portion sizes often leave me with something to take home. While outstanding food is essential, the exceptional service here is what really makes it special. I’ve never had a bad meal and have always appreciated the friendliness of the staff. You really hit it out of the park! P.S. Make sure to order the sweet potato fries; you’ll love them!

8/7/2024 my first time here. My chicken cheesesteak was very good. My friend had been here multiple times in the past and today got some sort of salad which included chicken nuggets but the chicken was raw. Waitress Emily took the salad away and removed it from our bill. My friend had never had bad food here before. I hope this was just an unfortunate and extremely rare mistake in the kitchen.

This restaurant was incredible! The food, the coffee, and the overall prices were fantastic. Our server, Ari, was truly one of the kindest people I've ever encountered. She made our dining experience even more enjoyable. We’re not locals; we’re from Michigan, and I’m honestly disappointed that I can’t visit this place more often! It’s a real gem. My daughter came in from Florida for my mom’s funeral and we had breakfast here 4 days in a row because it’s the best gluten free meal for an extremely reasonable price with fabulous service and a clean comfortable atmosphere. My new breakfast headquarters

We stopped by for brunch, and I was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes. The food was incredible, and our server, Deanna, provided excellent service! I highly recommend supporting this establishment!

This is our the highlight of our little trip to the Jersey Shore. We usually stay nearby and this is a must for my husband and I. It is a beautiful family place, everyone is super friendly. Delightful
