The food was okay, but nothing great. I'm not a fan of a place where you have to piece together a meal, and doesn't offer any combos. I had to order appetizers (4 spring rolls), and Thai hot sour soup, and my 2 entrees separately. Oh, and I had to order a bowl of rice separately...really..rice isn't included?? Let me start by saying that I've eaten at Thai Ivory a number of times already (all 3 locations actually) and have never had a bad meal. I've had bad service, but have always enjoyed the meals! I was so amazed to find out there are three locations for Cha Baa Thai. I've eaten at their location at a Burnside and now wanted to try their Bedford location. I'll get to the location downtown at some time in the future. Entering the building you have the feeling that it occupied a different restaurant but the decor is nice subtle and when I came by late (2pm) it wasn't busy. I ordered up a Chicken Pad thai for lunch and was thoroughly impressed. Where I live in Montreal it's very tough to get a consistent good quality pad thai. Many places do it in all kind of ways. First visit here in Oct 17. The inside is divided into two sections; to the left is a long window looking out over the parking lot, while to the right it's a bit more intimate and cozy, with both tables and booths. It was a moderate lunchtime crowd, but service was prompt. I ordered a hot sour soup to start and then went conventional with a pork pad thai. The soup was just fine, good heat and plenty of prawn. The pad thai was a little bland, probably toned down for the local palate, though it was quite plentiful. This review is for the Chain Lake Drive location. We ordered takeout, and I chose the cashew chicken and rice. Unfortunately, the cashew chicken was very disappointing. I had it at this restaurant before, and the takeout was excellent, but this time, the container was only half full. There were barely any vegetables—just a few slices of carrot and one piece of green pepper—along with some chicken, but not the usual amount. Overall, I was quite disappointed. From now on, I will be visiting the Bedford location instead.

Amazing food. Amazing service. Delicious. Hot. Spicy. More than enough of a portion to fill my tummy. Massaman curry with chicken, extra spicy and split a large rice with my buddy who had green curry extra vegetables and extra spicy. We both loved it and we were both super excited that we came back. We had both been before.... Separately, and agreed that the sauces were... Odd? But this experience was beyond amazing. Will be back for sure!! : :

I visited the Bedford location and I would not recommend the Pad Thai. It consisted of a large mound of bland rice noodles with just four shrimp and four pieces of unappetizing fried tofu. On the other hand, the red curry was quite good. The service was fast, but not very friendly. The restaurant was only half full, yet there were only two servers rushing around to manage everything. I probably won't be returning.

Very good food. I heard they speak Mandarin but they made really Thai food. The fresh spring roll really fresh and tasty. I ordered Masaman curry beef and my husband ordered Beef Pad Thai. Both of the dishes were good. We love it and definitely come back and would like to bring family come when they come visit.

Ate there last night. Food good, hot and well prepared. Service fast and efficient. Little lacking in atmosphere and a few wines were short on the wine list. Spring rolls especially good. Average prices and a varied menu. Good at what they do. Would recommend it.

I typically get takeout from here, and it's always quick, hot, and absolutely delicious. The Masaman curry is amazing! It's simply delightful and never fails to impress!

High quality cuisine, I had the Siam Dipper and the Red Curry Duck both were amazing! Very affordable and good atmosphere.
