Chachi Yarra Valley

I had a very disappointing experience at a place called The Dining Room. It only had four small tables, and while it claimed to serve Italian cuisine, it fell short in many ways. The herbal calzone was filled with overly preserved vegetables. To make matters worse, the chef was handling paperwork at the table and then prepared food for my wife without washing his hands. Overall, this was the worst dining experience we've ever had.

This tiny and cozy cafe is one of the best we found in Healesville. The staff were very warm and helpful and the food didn’t disappoint! We tried the Mussels and Cabonara which were great in taste, presentation and value! The ambience indoor is wonderful as well! Highly recommend

We'd highly recommend Chachi. It has lots of outdoor dining, which is great for Covid safety. The food is very good, in particular the desserts. We were impressed that almost everything was made on site. The maitre'd was terriffic welcoming and knowledgeable.

The drive through the area is enjoyable, with lovely wineries along the way. The wine and food are excellent. The Black Spur Drive offers stunning views.

Great food, everything cooked fresh. Wait staff were lovely. Only downside is no onsite bathroom.
