was in a party of 5 for an evening meal, I think among us all we had every dish on the menu and of course the forks were offered, so we all had a taste of everything, including the vegan bowl. it has not disappointed, great aromen and quality ingredients. a personal favorite of me, the cattle starter, I can't imagine ordering something else from now on, one must try. the personal was very attentive, without being intrusive, was great to chat with lewis (head chef after that, his enthusiasm for his eating is infectious, I am looking forward to the owner putting on a few pounds, how open be look certainly not to tell the story of eating; highly recommended and extremely good value for money.
My friends and I went to the Chain House for an evening meal. I had been there previously for breakfast but WOW the food tonight was outstanding. If we were in London this would be a little bistro cafe that you would expect to see everywhere but no we are in Ponty! Mackerel to start, lamb for mains and a cheese board for afters. I was not disappointed. I had plate envy with my friends choices. Please let this place keep going. Please support it. I just need to try lunch to get the hat tick. Beautiful food, original decor and friendly staff. Must have been good. I’ve never written a review on Facebook
Fantastic place! I can't recommend it enough the Sunday roast was gorgeous (I had the beef, which was so tender it practically melted! and it's so refreshing to know they offer vegetarian/vegan options as standard and even gluten free too if you book in advance The staff were super attentive and friendly as well which makes you feel right at home A* service! Can't wait to try the breakfasts
Just what ponty needed. A lovely modern place to enjoy some incredible food. I took my friend from London who is a very fussy eater and very hard to please, and she absolutely loved her chicken club sandwich. The pancakes were incredible and were the perfect size. delicious food and great service. I have brought my parents there to celebrate their high season, reasonable price for high-quality eating, I recommend the place and could even try the breakfast menu when I return. I really hope this little business is supported by the local community instead of giving the big chains around here money.
Confession time: my 3rd visit in 10 days. Cannot praise this lovely little bistro enough. Very cosy, loved the Brighton theatre chairs, the food and drinks are divine. Not a huge choice on the menu but it’s a cosy bistro and I’d go for quality over quantity every time! Service is exceptional and nothing is too much trouble!
Had the afternoon vegetarian option which was amazingly tasty. Sooooooo glad this little gem of an eateria is on my doorstep. Will be visiting again very soon. Especially now they are doing evening bookings. Wonderful staff and service! Cannot recommend highly enough.
Second visit here and it certainly won't be the last. The menu has a lovely range of choice for vegans and the food is DELICIOUS. The atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are polite and helpful. I highly recommend giving it a go. You won't be disappointed. Reserva una mesa ahora
