Feb 2019, great lunch terrace, we went twice. Accessible only by ski, in the middle of the slopes Attelas La Chaux . Service was excellent and efficient. Pizzas are large, choose from a very large range of fresh toppings, thin crust, absolutely as they should be. Service...in the restaurant was surprisingly efficient and courteous, even during English Dutch Swiss holidays. They also have a terrace bar, where a queue does form, that you can order food from, chips frites look great. And a separate ordering point for drinks. Get there before 12:30. I suspect if it had a catchier name, like Le Chalet it might be more popular. I'm sure I'll regret writing this next time I come to Verbier!
shortly before lunch at the Carlsberg-Chalet with my family, I stopped for drinks and the greeting we were given was absolutely shameful. we wanted to sit outside in the sun and therefore move some of the sun chairs so we could sit together. After we moved two chairs, one of the waiters came out and approached my uncle so aggressive that we thought he would be attacked, screaming right in his face. He didn't want us to move the chairs that are just enough, but the way he screamed in our face was so careless that we had to go. very bad experience and we will not return.
We had lunch here twice in a week and loved both the service and the food. The pizzas were great and the chef was a star throwing them in the air and dancing away by the oven. We had groups of 15 or so and...across the crew there was strong praise also for the chicken skewers, the carlsburger and the gorgonzola pasta. One of my favourite places on the mountain, book a table and enjoy!
This was our favorite lunch of our trip, but it was far from the most expensive. Sitting right in the middle of the ski slopes, Chalet Carlsberg is a wonderful place to eat lunch.
